• Last regular meet: Fri 8/04 6:30 pm at Dynamo Chamblee (registration deadline: Mon 7/31).
• Finals: Sat 8/12 9:00am at Chastain Park (registration deadline: next Monday 8/07)

Finals registration looks like it opened after last Friday's meet. 

On Tues 8/01 (first day of school for APS) we have our team photo at 7:15 pm. At 7:30 pm we have our regular practice except sad because it will be Nils's last practice for this season. For those who missed the butterfly clinic, at 8:30 pm we will do 30 minutes of the butterfly drill progression. If you'd like to stay for the butterfly clinic makeup, please bring fins or reply to this message with your shoe size. 

This Friday's Dynamo meet will be like our other meets this season (so no Friday practice this week). Finals, or rather the Championship of the World of Atlanta, will also be mostly like regular meets. Except bigger. And with team trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd. And Saturday morning, so hopefully no lightning! To optimize points we typically need to shift swimmers around. Ex: last year I initially signed up for 50 Free & 50 Breast, then Coach Lindsey talked me into 50 Back, 100 Free & 100 IM, which increased my contribution to the team score. Please feel free to leave me extensive notes when you're signing up because they help me! Are there events you would be sad to miss? Others I could swap in? Do you have better guesses on your times than I could have because your events have been canceled by lightning? Also if there's anyone on the team willing to help optimizing event selections for finals, please let me know.
